Dave Vibert opened Rosslyn Service in 1950 in the service of area farmers as an equipment mechanic's shop and hardware store. Thanks to Dave's good nature, honesty, and hard work, his little shop soon became a gathering spot for country neighbours for miles around and, as his family grew into the business, it evolved to keep up with the growing community around it.

The move to join the Home Hardware family in 2010 was a natural step in Rosslyn Service's evolution, giving us access to amazing pricing on over 60,000 items through the buying group without taking anything away from our independence. The things that have been important to Dave for over 60 years are just as important to us. Although Dave has passed on, you'll still find his touch—and his family—in every aspect of the business, from the machine shop to the service counter to the well-stocked aisles in the store.
